We are a small independent business based in Chippenham offering personalised gifts inspired by your furry loved ones. Like many others, we are obsessed with our little fur babies who play a huge part in our lives, they each have their own little characteristics and lovable personalities, which is why YAU is an abbreviation of You Are Unique!

We love seeing the smile on people's faces when they open up their personalised gifts and wanted to be able to spread the happiness to all our fellow animal lovers. 

How it all began

There’s so many companies out there that produce pet portraits. However, I really struggled to find one that was customisable…and at an affordable price. They were all large organisations outside the UK but I wanted to be able to speak to the designer and talk through what I had in mind. So I decided to reach out to a friend of mine who I know is an amazing digital artist and create my own.

💡 This sparked the idea of starting up Yau Pets 💡

Our goal is to produce high quality illustrations and allow our customers to put their own spin on the design and really make their product unique.

We have purposely broken down the products to give you complete control of how much you want us to help with the process. You can choose to simply purchase a digital illustration, or have us design and print the artwork too.

As a small business ourselves, it is super important to us that we support our fellow small business owners, which is why we have chosen a local print company who we have met in person and even had a tour around their print studio to look at the giant machines that produce our final products. We have personally chosen the perfect print and paper quality that we know our customers will love and appreciate.

As animal lovers and parents to many fur babies ourselves, we understand how much of an impact these little ones have on our lives. We take pride in our work to make sure each illustration really captures the essence of your loved ones.

We are exceptionally proud of our products and we hope that you will love them just as much as we do.

Be Unique  

We don’t want to be a conveyor belt just pumping out illustrations of the same designs over and over again, we want to give our customers the option to put their creative touch into the design.

As a small business, we are personally involved in every step of the process, we want you to be able to contact us directly and not just talk to an AI chatbot or someone who isn’t remotely involved in the design process.

We would even love the opportunity to get to meet your fur baby in person one day at a convention.

Be Genuine

When setting up our business, the word GENUINE was underlined multiple times, it is so important to us that we build relationships with our customers and to do so we must always be open and honest.

If a customer has previously made a purchase of an illustration and returns to buy another product using the same artwork, we give you the option to reuse the image so you’re not charged again for a service that your not essentially getting.

Be Kind

We are currently sourcing a local animal charity to support where we will make a donation for every purchase made. We want to give back and do what we can to support these amazing causes.

As we produce physical prints as one of our core products, we will also be looking to have trees planted for every artwork print order we receive to ensure we support a greener, more sustainable planet.

Our Future
